= 1. Installation of Debvisdic =

== 1.1 How to install DEBVisDic ==

 * you may see http://nlp.fi.muni.cz/projects/deb2/install.html
 * Mozilla Firefox has to be installed first in an usual way (you download it using Google first)
 * When Firefox is installed go to the following address: http://nlp.fi.muni.cz/projekty/deb2/clients/
 * Click on DEBVisDic
 * ''Note:'' Before the first installation, you need to add our site nlp.fi.muni.cz to the list of sites allowed for installing. The dialog for adding the site to the list appears the first time you click on any installation package (at our site). Then you must Allow the site and next time you click on the package, you can begin the real installation.
 * a window will open with 3 packages - click on install new
 * close all windows in Firefox (with {{{File -> Quit}}}) - DEBVisDic should appear as a new line in Firefox {{{Tools}}} 
 * Start Firefox again - click on DEBVisDic - an access box asking for login and password will appear - you fill it in, then you will see all the packages (languages) to which you have an access
 * It should say installation is complete
 * restart Firefox - close all windows with {{{File -> Quit}}}

== 1.2 Starting Debvisdic ==

 * starting DEBVisDic for normal use: click on DEBVisDic in Tools, access box should appear, write your login and password.
 * you will see long and narrow window DEBVisDic, there you click on Settings, a dialog box will appear in which you choose Preferences that allow you to select  the individual !WordNets you want to work with - using commands Add / Remove, e.g. English and Xhosa.
 * Click OK and working windows for selected Wordnets will  
   appear
 * Now you can start working

== 1.3 How to uninstall/remove DEBVisDic ==

 * run Firefox (without the {{{-chrome}}} option)
 * in {{{Tools -> Extensions}}} (or {{{Add-ons}}}) select all DEBVisDic
   packages ({{{debvisdic}}}, {{{jslib}}}, and {{{wn...}}} for each
   wordnet) and Uninstall them
