Currently, DEBDict gives you access to the following dictionaries (all are Czech dictionaries, see dictionaries.bib for citations in the BibTeX format):

- foreign words dictionary
- thesaurus

- "all dictionaries" shows results from all these dictionaries at the same time
Apart from dictionaries, you can use the following resources:
- Czech morphological analyser (Ajka)
- geographical information system (map of Czech Republic)
- get results from an external website (Google, Answers.com, Wikipedia and Seznam Encyklopedie are current examples)
- CIA World Factbook (behaves similar to dictionary), you can search for part of country name or * to show the list of all countries

How to use DEBDict
Extension for Mozilla Firefox
- Download installation package in Firefox. An extension installation dialog appears - the client will be installed as so called extension. Install it.
- Stop and start Firefox again.
- You can see the installed client in the list of Firefox extensions. Go to the main menu: Tools - Extensions
Run DEBDict using one of this three possibilities:
- In Firefox menu, choose Tools - DEBDict.
- Run Firefox and enter chrome://debdict/content to the address bar.
- Run Firefox with command-line parameter, for example firefox -chrome chrome://debdict/content
Tip: You can also create a client icon on the Desktop for easy running of the client.
- The Firefox installation program has created a Firefox icon on the Desktop. Copy it and name the copy e.g. "DEBDict".
- Adjust the command for the new icon: add the arguments '-chrome chrome://debdict/content' to the command in the icon Properties dialog. The whole command should look for example like this: "C:/Program files/Mozilla firefox/firefox" -chrome chrome://debdict/content (the double quotes are part of the command).
- Try to run the client with the new icon. You should see the client main window, now without the unneeded Firefox controls.
